Music Totem has baby music groups for babies aged 3–8 and 8–12 months. In addition, one group has an age range of 3–12 months. If you are wondering which group would be right for you, you can ask our office for help or arrange a free introductory visit. When you start the group, the age can be anything between that and over a year at the end of the school year, so it is worth considering the age groups as a guide.

Baby music box 3–8 months – first notes

Baby music is aimed at the very youngest babies and their parents. Music supports the baby's hearing development and provides safe sensory stimulation. This is a leisurely moment in the middle of everyday life, where the parent gets new ideas to take home and the baby gets to enjoy music with all of their senses.

Baby music focuses on strengthening the interaction between baby and parent, calming them down, and gently stimulating the baby's senses through music. During the classes, gentle songs are sung, rhymes are sung, and the baby is stroked and rocked to the beat of the music on the baby's terms.

Baby music box 8–12 months – an exploration of sounds and rhythm!

The Baby Music Box is aimed at babies aged 8-12 months and their parents. At this age, many babies are already sitting up firmly, crawling or learning their first steps, and their interest in the sounds of the environment and other children is growing rapidly.

Babies aged 8–12 months enjoy exploring musical instruments, responding to rhythm and movement. Classes include singing, playing fast-paced lap and knee games and learning about rhythmic instruments. At this age, music particularly supports a child's motor development and the first steps in learning language. Muskari is full of exploration and fast-paced development.
