Hello!

I’m Eero, a cellist originally from Espoo and now based in Tampere, currently completing my degree in music pedagogy at Tampere University of Applied Sciences. 

My areas of special expertise in music include ensemble playing and arranging music for various instrumentations. I’ve had many opportunities to apply these skills through frequent performing, which has also allowed me to explore a wide range of musical genres. 

As a teacher, I’ve been praised for my natural ability to work with players of all ages and skill levels. In my cello teaching, my goal is to create lesson experiences that are shaped by each student’s individual goals, with a strong emphasis on creative music-making and meaningful musical experiences—while also developing technical and theoretical skills along the way. 

Outside of music, I find inspiration in nature and spending time outdoors, and I’m an avid follower of all kinds of sports.
