Meet the Teachers of Musiikkitoteemi
Karoliina Lehtinen
Hello!
I have a diverse background in music, with experience in individual, duo, and group instruction, organizing music courses and camps, working on commissioned projects, and providing training since 2004. In addition to teaching early childhood music and band instruments, I also sing and play both the violin and piano. I enjoy combining music with other art forms to create interdisciplinary experiences. I have a passion for rhythm and body music exercises that engage the entire body as a resonating instrument.
In addition to early childhood music classes, I also give instrumental lessons for students of all ages—from children to adults and seniors. Lesson content is always planned together with the student to suit their individual needs and goals. I also teach students who require special support and, alongside traditional notation, I use methods from special music education as needed.
Calling hour options:
- Traditional playing lesson
- A carousel where people play music in a variety of ways using different instruments, practicing basic musician skills.
- A fairy tale world where children learn to play and sing using fairy tales, pictures, colors and toys.
- Group, individual and couple classes for those who need special support
Welcome to make music together!
