Preparatory lessons

In preparatory instrumental instruction, the child can become familiar with the basics of their instrument in a small group setting. This serves as an excellent springboard into the world of instrumental lessons.

The instruction takes into account each child’s individual interests and starting points. Teaching is gentle and child-centered. During lessons, students play both together and individually. Preparatory instruction is available for violin, flute, cello, guitar, and piano.

Small groups typically consist of 2 to 3 students, and lessons last between 30 and 40 minutes, depending on the number of participants. Scheduling is arranged by the teacher in consultation with the enrolled students.

Instrument carousel

In the individual instrument carousel, the child can explore several different instruments in one-on-one sessions with each instrument’s teacher. The goal is to help the child find a preferred instrument to continue studying through personalized instruction. The instrument carousel lasts for one semester.
